INSTALLATION
Choose your MagnaSystem™ Flooring Installation Option
No adhesive is required between the MagnaSystem™ underlay and covering components, as they are securely connected by a strong magnetic bond. However, you have the option to either adhere the underlay to the substrate or opt for our loose-lay underlay, which does not require adhesive.
Adhesive Option
As with traditional underlay, adhesive is applied to the floor substrate and MagnaBond™ is rolled out over the adhesive. MagnaTiles™ are then installed and held firmly in place by the strong magnetic bond. No drying time delays, no grout issues, no fuss.
Perfect for sites with a level substrate where there are no existing floor coverings.

Floors are cleaned and dried, ensuring the surface is level and clear of debris.

MagnaBond™ underlay is rolled out, trimmed to size and rolled back. Adhesive is applied to the substrate floor.
The MagnaBond™ underlay is rolled back out over the adhesive.

MagnaTiles™ are laid out on top of the MagnaBond™ in a traditional brick bond pattern and immediately magnetise to the receptive underlay. MagnaTiles™ are fixed in place by the strong magnetic bond.

No Adhesive Option
Utilising our groundbreaking MagnaFlex™ underlay, this installation option requires no adhesive; simply roll out the loose lay MagnaFlex™ over clean, level floors and install the MagnaTiles™ on top.
Existing hard floor coverings (including tiles) can be left in place, making this an excellent option for sites seeking a fast refurbishment of their current flooring.

There's no need to remove existing hard floor coverings. However where existing coverings are not level (eg tiled floors with recessed grout lines) it is recommended to use a rapid-drying feather finish compound to level the substrate
